Final Thoughts:
With five drivers across two classes, Elite Crawley Racing turned heads and stacked results. From Ross’s top podium finish and Adam’s heroic race win to Elliot and Crissy’s gritty climbs through the field, the team showed it has depth, talent, and momentum.
Whether it’s Lightweight or Heavyweight, one thing is clear: Elite Crawley Racing isn’t here just to participate—they’re here to compete. And this is only the beginning.
ECR was out in force over the weekend with half the team entered into the competition with lows and highs over the day it was a smashing day too say the least.
It was a day of resilience and determination as the latest round of the championship unfolded. Despite a tough start, a strong comeback saw valuable points secured, keeping the title fight well within reach.
Practice began with a solid P5, but Heat 1 proved challenging, with an early drop to P20 before recovering to P13. Heat 2 showed real progress, climbing from P7 to a strong P3 finish. Heat 3 brought even more drama, with a charge from P5 to P1 before a post-race penalty relegated the result to P5.
The final saw one of the best performances of the day, moving up from P5 to P2 and proving that the pace was there for the win. With confidence high and momentum building, attention now shifts to Tamworth, where the focus will be on damage limitation and maximizing championship points.
Podium Success at Whilton Mill Season Opener
The opening round of the Club100 season at Whilton Mill delivered a strong start, with a P1 in the Pre-Final and a P3 in the Final, setting the tone for the championship ahead.
Practice began on a high, quickly returning to grips with the track to secure P1, which carried through into qualifying, where a final flying lap—despite minor holdups—sealed pole position.
The Pre-Final saw a dominant performance, with a rapid launch off the line and a strong pace throughout. Despite an initial restart, another great getaway allowed for an early gap, maintaining the lead under pressure to take the first win of the season.
The Final was a fierce battle, with another strong start keeping the lead in the opening laps. However, a slight lack of bottom-end speed allowed Logan McAlister to make a move. With the two pulling clear of the field, a thrilling late-race fight saw multiple side-by-side moments before crossing the line in P2 with the fastest lap. Unfortunately, a cone penalty for pushing too hard through the chicane dropped the result to P3—a frustrating but valuable lesson.
With a solid start to the season, attention now turns to Shenington, where the aim is to build on this momentum and fight for more strong results.
