Ross is a 2.5-year newbie to the sport and has come on leaps and bounds since then, finishing fourth in his first BIKC regional to finishing fourth and fifth at national level. He is now taking the outdoor scene by storm, with podium finishes in Club100 and Daytona, and wins in EKS and SRK.

For Ross Sandwell, the Kart Race of Champions 2025 was nothing short of a dream debut. Entering the event for the very first time, Ross faced a grid packed with some of the most experienced and talented drivers in the UK. Instead of being intimidated, he rose to the challenge and delivered a weekend of racing that ended with him lifting the Heavyweight Trophy.
Right from the start, Ross showed his intent. He qualified on pole, proved his pace in every heat, and kept himself in the fight all the way to the Final. Each race tested his focus, with Ross battling hard against seasoned champions—including 2-time KROC winner Mark Puxty. In the Final, everything came together. With precise driving and calm under pressure, Ross crossed the line first and etched his name into KROC history as Heavyweight Champion 2025.
